House rules
Clubhouse operation
While the clubhouse is open, members and parents are welcome to use it daily. Exceptions may apply for special activities and events. Outside of competition season, opening hours will vary.
Any request to use the clubhouse or any of its components must be submitted in advance to the clubhouse operator via [email protected]. This must be done at least 7 days in advance for ordering purposes. For tournaments and large-scale events, this must be done at least 14 days in advance.
Furthermore, the following rules apply:
- The contents of the first aid kits are exclusively intended for treating injuries.
- Furniture that is moved must be put back in the correct place by the user.
- Access to the bar and kitchen is reserved for people who have a task there.
- Filling bottles is done in one of the changing rooms.
- On Saturdays, no alcoholic beverages are served before 1:00 PM. After 1:00 PM, alcoholic beverages are only permitted to adults and juniors in the A-category (youth category) aged 18 and over.
- On Sundays, alcohol is only served to adults and youth 18 and older. Serving alcoholic beverages to minors by adults is grounds for removal from the clubhouse.
- Smoking is prohibited in the clubhouse.
- The use of hard and soft drugs, excessive alcohol consumption, aggression, violence, discrimination, and sexual harassment at our property are not tolerated and are grounds for removal from the complex.
Consumptions
- It is not permitted to consume food and drinks brought along in the clubhouse or on the terrace.
- Drinks will only be provided against payment by debit card or against consumption vouchers provided by the Board.
- Before the match, referees are offered a cup of coffee/tea and after the match, they are offered one more drink.
- After the match, players and opponents of juniors and youngest youth will be offered lemonade.
- People working for the Reigers in the context of maintenance of the clubhouse or sports complex are entitled to coffee, tea, or soft drinks, but this must be registered at the cash register.
Parking/traffic policy
- Car: Park only in designated spaces and always ensure the road is clear for other cars to pass. Park respectfully.
- Access to the gate must also be maintained in case of emergencies. An ambulance must always be able to access the complex.
- Try to park as much as possible when gathering, departing and arriving at Fanny Blankers Koenhal, Vork & Mes or Den Burgh
- Bicycles: place your bicycle in the bike rack. Do not park bicycles against the clubhouse. This will damage the paint and incur additional maintenance costs for the club. Do not park bicycles along the field (including at the Blauwe Water field).
- It is not permitted to ride bicycles on the artificial turf fields.
- Mopeds/scooters: Please park your moped/scooter alongside the clubhouse; do not double-park. Please be advised that parking on the premises is entirely at your own risk. The club accepts no liability for damage to bicycles/mopeds parked on the premises.
Riding of youth members
Parents take turns driving for their child's team. Driving is a given and is not considered a contribution to the club.
Parents should be aware not to take more children than legally permitted and should arrange for their own passenger insurance.
Waste
- Do not bring glassware or crockery onto the fields. Waste must be placed in the appropriate bins both outside on the fields and inside the clubhouse.
- We all want a clean and tidy clubhouse/complex. So we all need to contribute to this!
- Point out others' behavior. Talk to children/parents who leave their trash lying around. Set a good example and put any litter in the trash can.
- Please use the restrooms properly. Don't flush any objects down the toilet that don't belong there. Nothing is more pleasant than entering a fresh and clean restroom.
- After using a changing room, it must be left clean/tidy.
- Please use all items in and around the clubhouse responsibly.
- The more we all pay attention to this, the more we can enjoy our cozy clubhouse.
Dogs
- Dogs are not allowed within the fences of the artificial turf fields.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the outdoor area.
- Feces must be removed by the dog's owner.
Alcohol and smoking
- Smoking and sports don't really mix. Therefore, try to smoke as little as possible, even on the sidelines. Smoking is prohibited on the field.
- Trainers are not allowed to smoke in plain sight during their 'duty'.
- Smoking is prohibited in the Clubhouse and on the terrace.
Use of the fields
- The fields are exclusively intended for playing hockey. Other sports, organized or unorganized, are not permitted (unless permission has been granted by the General Affairs Board Member). Hockey is also prohibited outside the fields, such as on the terrace, the walking paths, and in the clubhouse.
- It is not permitted to enter the fields with glassware, chewing gum, metal studs and tobacco products.
- It is not permitted to sit on the fences or the dugouts.
- Hanging, jumping, or sitting on the nets is prohibited. Goal nets are very expensive. Damaged nets will be recovered from the perpetrator(s).
After the match day: field and clubhouse
- On Saturdays, a youth team sweeps the clubhouse. On Sundays, a senior or veteran team sweeps.
- The last team playing at home lowers the flags and stores the corner flags in the barrel in the hall of the clubhouse.
Guidelines for players, trainers and coaches
During training sessions, the coaches are responsible for the orderly use of the locker rooms, equipment room, and fields. They have been provided with two keys for this purpose, in accordance with the Key Regulations.
Everyone is responsible for keeping the clubhouse, fields, dugouts, and surrounding area clean and tidy, and will take appropriate measures to ensure this is the case, if requested. There are plenty of trash bins available. We encourage each other to clean up after ourselves and set a good example.
